| | We went to the Cook Islands for my nephews wedding, we are not seasoned travellers and I researched the Islands on the net I picked the Lagoon Lodges because they were in walking distance of the Hotel were the wedding was to take place. I booked in Feb this year to go in Oct all those months I worried about the accomodation that I had booked. Well I needed of worried the villa that we stayed in was a standard villa and my family liked it better than the more expensive ones on site, also better for us than the hotels. the staff were fantastic the villa was light clean and had a nice feeling to be in. Central to all the things that we wanted to do. there is no resturaunt on site but every morning a tropical breakfast was included and the frest fruit and coconut and toast was just what we needed to kick start the day. I found it a bit hard to adjust to the lack of fresh milk but hey so what we drank less coffee and tea boo hoo. I would recommend the Lagoon Lodges to anyone that likes the option to be self contained. We only had one meal in the villa in ten days. But it was nice to have our own rooms. |
